FOCUS STC Reflects on a Fruitful ᴇNᴀBʟS Plenary Meeting in Wageningen, NL
On 7-8 May 2025, FOCUS STC was delighted to take part in the 3rd plenary meeting of the ᴇNᴀBʟS project, held in the inspiring surroundings of Wageningen University & Research. Far from a conventional conference setting, the green campus provided a perfect backdrop to explore and celebrate Nature-Based Solutions (NBS) in both theory and practice.
The meeting provided an excellent platform for partners to delve into meaningful discussions, particularly regarding the integration of Nature-Based Solutions into educational curricula and the advancement of Living Labs. The collaborative spirit among all participants was palpable, fostering productive sessions and forward-thinking dialogues. We found the blend of indoor sessions and outdoor experiences, including the inspiring visit to the Wageningen Food Forest, to be particularly effective in stimulating fresh perspectives and strengthening our collective purpose.
FOCUS STC extends its sincere gratitude to the Wageningen hosts for their gracious hospitality, exceptional organisation, and the beautiful natural setting that energised the entire gathering. We return home with renewed energy and a strengthened commitment to embedding NBS, feeling invigorated by the collaborative progress and shared vision evident throughout the meeting.
Together, the ᴇNᴀBʟScommunity continues to grow—rooted in partnership, guided by innovation, and united in the mission to shape a greener future.
